What is Apple?

Apple is an American multinational corporation based out of Cupertino, California. They design, develop and sell some of best and high end electronics. Its best-known products are their line of Mac Computers, the iPod media player, the iPhone smartphone, and there iPad tablet. They are also known for some of their software such as Safari web browser, iTunes media player, and there iLife and iWork software.

Apple was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne on April 1, 1976 to develop and sell personal computers. They were first name Apple Computer, Inc. on January 3, 1997 and was renamed to Apple Inc. on January 9, 2007 to show they don’t only focus on computers.

OS X Mavericks

OS X Mavericks (version 10.9) is the tenth major release of OS X, designed for Apple‘s desktop computers and servers operating system for Macintosh computers. OS X Mavericks was announced on June 10, 2013 and was later released on October 22, 2013. Which was and still is a free update through the Mac App Store.

OS X Mavericks brings quite a few new features to Mac. Apple notes more than 200 new features. They introduced a few new programs such as iBooks and Maps. Also their Calendar and Safari have been significantly changed. Mavericks also brings in a whole a lot of new system tools brining in multiple display Support.
